Sometimes, the most meaningful days are the ones that keep everything simple — the people you love, an incredible setting, and the chance to actually be present for it all.
Set right along the water in Nahant, Massachusetts, just north of Boston, The Oceanview gave us the kind of New England backdrop that never gets old. The ocean, the breeze, and the coastline created the perfect setting for a day that felt relaxed, intimate, and completely centered around Fabi and Martin.

That contrast is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day — the calm before the ceremony, the emotion of seeing each other for the first time, the quiet moments during portraits, and then the absolute energy of the reception.
Getting to photograph Fabi and Martin’s day also meant getting to make the trip up to the Boston area, which is something I never take for granted. One of the best parts of what I do is getting to travel throughout New England, photograph couples in places that are meaningful to them, and experience so many different versions of a wedding day.
Fabi and Martin’s was intimate, coastal, full of life, and completely their own.
And those are always the best kinds of days to document.
They chose to save seeing each other for the ceremony, which made that walk down the aisle even more meaningful. There is something about that moment when everything else seems to disappear for a second — when the nerves, anticipation, and excitement finally meet. Surrounded by the people who mattered most, Fabi and Martin exchanged vows with the ocean just beyond them and officially began the next chapter of their story.
After the ceremony, we took time for family photos and portraits of the two of them around the property. My approach to portraits is always about finding the balance between creating beautiful images and making sure my couples still get to experience their wedding. It’s not about turning the day into one long photoshoot. It’s about giving enough direction to make things feel natural, then stepping back and letting the real moments happen.
And once the portraits were finished, it was time to celebrate.
Their reception was full of energy, laughter, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you forget you’re even working. After an intimate ceremony and quieter moments along the water, the night completely shifted gears as everyone came together to celebrate Fabi and Martin.
It gave the celebration an easy, intimate feeling and let the two of them move through the day in a way that felt completely true to who they are.
Instead of having a traditional bridal party, Fabi and Martin kept their wedding day beautifully simple and focused on being together. Their family and friends were woven into the day naturally, without needing every moment to follow a traditional structure.
